Traveling has always been my greatest dream—exploring new cultures, savoring diverse cuisines, and meeting people from different walks of life. Recently, I turned this dream into reality with an exciting international tour. I call it my "A Journey Across Countries."
In this blog, I’ll share my experiences and tips from visiting some of the most amazing destinations. Let’s dive in!
First Stop: Thailand
My first destination was Thailand, known as the "Land of Smiles." I spent my time exploring Bangkok and Chiang Mai. The bustling street food scene, the charm of floating markets, and the serenity of Wat Pho were unforgettable. I even took a detour to enjoy the turquoise waters of Phuket and Krabi.Highlights:
- Exploring ancient temples like Wat Arun.
- Tasting authentic Pad Thai and Mango Sticky Rice.
- Scuba diving near the coral reefs of Koh Samui.
Travel Tip: Visit the temples early in the morning to avoid crowds, and always stay hydrated in the tropical heat.
Second Stop: Turkey
Next up was Turkey—a land where East meets West. In Istanbul, I marveled at the iconic Hagia Sophia and indulged in traditional Turkish delights at the Grand Bazaar. Cappadocia offered a surreal experience with its hot air balloon rides and unique fairy chimneys.
Highlights:
- Cruising along the Bosphorus.
- Enjoying a Turkish hammam spa.
- Exploring the underground cities of Cappadocia.
Travel Tip: Book your hot air balloon ride in advance and don’t miss out on sipping Turkish tea by the Bosphorus.
Third Stop: France
France brought a romantic charm to my journey. Paris was as magical as I had imagined, with the Eiffel Tower shining bright at night and the art treasures of the Louvre taking my breath away. Outside the city, I explored the picturesque vineyards of Bordeaux and the castles of the Loire Valley.
Highlights:
- Watching the sunset from Montmartre.
- Trying escargot and crème brûlée at local cafes.
- Taking a scenic cruise on the Seine River.
Travel Tip: Use public transportation to save money and book tickets to major attractions online to skip long queues.
Fourth Stop: Japan
Japan was a blend of tradition and modernity. I stayed at a ryokan in Kyoto, soaked in hot springs, and admired the beauty of cherry blossoms. Tokyo’s vibrant streets and Mount Fuji’s tranquility offered the perfect contrast.
Highlights:
- Walking through the bamboo groves of Arashiyama.
- Watching a sumo wrestling match in Tokyo.
- Relishing sushi and matcha desserts.
Travel Tip: Get a Japan Rail Pass for affordable and efficient travel. Be mindful of local etiquette—it’s greatly appreciated by the Japanese.
What’s Next?
This journey across countries has left me with stories to cherish for a lifetime. As I plan my next adventure, destinations like Kenya for a wildlife safari and Peru’s Machu Picchu are high on my list.
